This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use describes how De'Longhi VIP Club (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from delonghivip.com.sg (the "Site") or otherwise communicate with us regarding the Site (collectively, the "Services"). For purposes of this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Please read this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use or access any of the Services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy and Terms of Use on the Site, update the "Last updated" date and take any other steps required by applicable law.

Memberships:

To enjoy membership benefits, products must be purchased from De’Longhi Singapore Concept Store, De’Longhi Singapore official online store (www.delonghi.com/en-sg) or any authorised in-store and online retailers. 

  • Member benefits apply only to eligible products that are sold and supported in Singapore.
  • Existing De’Longhi VIP Club members from countries outside of Singapore are not eligible for the local benefits. Please refer back to your local De’Longhi office for further information. 
  • Registered accounts and benefits are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for any cash terms.
  • Refer to Annex A for more information.

Membership Registration

  1. Users can agree to these terms by reviewing the terms, filling out the membership information according to the registration form set by the Company, and checking the agreement box. Checking the agreement box is considered as agreeing to these terms.
  2. In order to register as a Member, the Customer must be at least 18 years old at the point of registration. If the Customer is under 18, he or she may use our Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. 
  3. The Company will not accept the registration of users as members if following apply:
    • There is false information, omission, or error in the registration details.
    • The applicant is below 13 years old. 
    • The application is made using someone else's name.
    • Other cases where the applicant does not meet the membership application requirements set by the Company.
  4. The Company may withhold acceptance of an application until the reason for the restriction is resolved in the following cases:
    • If there are no available facilities related to the service.
    • If there are technical issues.
    • Other cases recognised as necessary by the Company.
  5. The membership registration contract is considered established when the Company’s acceptance reaches the member.
  6. All information provided in the registration form is considered true. Users who do not provide their accurate information will not be legally protected and may be subject to service restrictions.
  7. If there are changes to the information registered during membership registration, the member must promptly notify the Company via email or other methods. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages resulting from failure to notify of changes.

Member Withdrawal and Loss of Membership

  1. Members may request withdrawal from the Company at any time, and the Company will process the withdrawal within 14 working days. 
  2. To request membership withdrawal, please login to Site, click on profile > user information > cancel membership. 
  3. The Company may restrict or suspend membership if the member falls into the following categories:

3.1 Providing false information during registration. 
3.2 Disrupting or misusing another person’s use of the Site or information.
3.3 Intentionally interfering with the operation of the service.
3.4 Illegally using another member’s personal information, user ID, and password.
3.5 Replicating or distributing information obtained from the Company’s service without prior consent, or using it commercially.

Suspension of Services

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of services if there is a need for maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of information and communication equipment, or if there are communication failures.
  2. When the Company provides individual notifications to members, it may do so through the email address designated by the member and the registered contact information.

    In the case of service suspension under the previous section, the Company will notify users using the method specified below.

    For notifications to multiple members, the Company may substitute individual notices with postings on the Site for at least one week.

Annex A: Membership Benefits

Members Benefits

1. Referral program

1.1 Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must be a registered De’Longhi VIP Club Singapore member. 

1.2 How the Referral Program Works

  • Referring a Friend: To refer a non-member, you must share your membership code with a friend or family who is eligible to sign up for the VIP membership club.
  • Referred Friend: The referred individual must sign up through your membership code during registration.
  • Qualifying Referral: A referral is considered "qualified" when:
  • The referred individual successfully completes the registration process.

1.3 Referral Rewards

  • Reward Structure: Referrers will receive a reward for each successful referral based on the specific terms of the Program. 
  • Reward Delivery: Referral reward items are subject to availability. If the selected item is unavailable, we will contact you to offer the option to choose an alternative item. Rewards will be delivered within 30 days after the referred user meets the qualifying conditions. Delivery information will be requested during the gift selection stage. 
  • Maximum Rewards: Subject to a cap of 20 referrals per month. 

1.4 Referral Program Restrictions

  • No Abuse: You may not use the referral program to self-refer or engage in fraudulent or deceitful behavior (e.g. creating fake accounts).
  • Multiple Referrals: Referring or referred by the same individual multiple times.
  • Referral Program Abuse: We reserve the right to disqualify any participant or revoke rewards if we suspect any abuse of the Program, including but not limited to fraud, manipulation, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

1.5 Account and Eligibility Verification

We reserve the right to verify both the referrer and referred individual’s accounts to ensure compliance with the Program. We may request documentation or other proof of eligibility, and we reserve the right to withhold or revoke rewards if the eligibility requirements are not met or if there is any suspicion of abuse.

1.6 Program Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
  • Update the Terms and Conditions of the Program, and such changes will be posted on our website or communicated via email. 
  • Your continued participation in the Program after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

1.7 Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and use personal data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. By participating in the Program, you consent to our collection and use of personal information for the purposes of administering the Program.

1.8 Termination of Participation

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your participation in the Program at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms and Conditions or engaged in fraudulent, harmful, or unethical behavior.

By participating in the Referral Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Care Package

The Warranty rights may be exercised by the Customer if the defect appears on the new Products within 2 (two) years from the date of delivery of the Products to the Customer. 

2.1 Availability of Care Package:

De’Longhi VIP Club SG offers an optional warranty extension ("Warranty Extension") that extends the standard warranty period for an additional 1 year from the expiration of the original Warranty Period. The Warranty Extension is available for purchase at the time of product purchase or within [30] days after purchase.

2.2 What the Warranty Extension Covers:

The Warranty Extension provides the same coverage as the standard warranty, including repair or replacement of the Product due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

2.3 Exclusions from Warranty Extension:

The same exclusions that apply to the standard warranty also apply to the Warranty Extension. The Warranty Extension does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, or unauthorised repairs after the original warranty period has expired.

2.4 Warranty Extension Process:

To activate the Warranty Extension, the customer must register the Product with De’Longhi at www.delonghi.com/en-sg within 30 days of purchase. Failure to register within this timeframe will result in the extension not being applied.

2.5 Transferability of Extended Warranty:

The Warranty Extension is non-transferable and non-refundable.

3. Events & Partnerships

3.1 Events/ Workshops: 

  • Company reserves the right to make any other amendments without prior notice.
  • Company shall not be held responsible for any injuries or mishaps during the workshop. 
  • Should there be any additional fees to the hosted venue during the workshop session, it will be borne by the participants. 

3.2 Partnership Benefits

Company has entered into partnerships with various businesses or service providers to offer consumers certain benefits, such as: 

  • Discounts or special pricing on products and services.
  • Exclusive access to events, offers, or promotions.
  • Each partnership benefit is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective partner and may vary depending on the offer.

3.3 No Guarantee

While the Company works to ensure that partnership benefits are provided as promised, we do not guarantee availability, and any benefits are subject to availability at the time of claim. Please refer to our partners’ terms and conditions. 

4. Members Exclusive Offers

Members’ offer is only valid at De’Longhi Concept Store Singapore (272 East Coast Rd, Singapore 428941) and De’Longhi Official Online Store (www.delonghi.com/en-sg) unless stated otherwise.

All members’ exclusive offers and promotions are not stackable on top of in-store and online promotions unless stated otherwise. 

Company reserves all rights to make amendments without prior notice.


Annex B: White Glove Service 

White Glove Service (hereinafter referred to as "WGS") is an exclusive home installation service for customers who purchased products from De’Longhi Concept Store or De’Longhi Official Online Store www.delonghi.com/en-sg only. This service is available only for customers who have opted in for the installation service at the time of purchase. 

Product installation is complimentary if you had purchased this list of product models: EPAM960.75.GLM, ECAM650.85.MS, ECAM450.65.S, ECAM610.75.MB, complimentary product installation is included. 

‘WGS’ will be served by our appointed Coffee Solutions Specialist from DWS Pte Ltd - De’Longhi SG official service provider. 

1. Customer Consent

By opting in for the ‘WGS’, you consent to our installation team entering your premises for the purpose of installing the machine. 

2. Scheduling

  • Once the installation service is requested, we will contact you to confirm the installation date and time. Installation appointments are subject to availability.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to meet your preferred schedule, but please allow flexibility due to factors such as road traffic, unforeseen delays, and availability of Coffee Specialist.
  • Installations will be scheduled during business hours 10AM – 6PM, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. 

3 . Preparation for Installation

  • Ensure the installation area is accessible and clear of obstructions to allow our experts to work efficiently.
  • Ensure that the necessary power outlets are available and functioning correctly for our experts to install and start the coffee machine. 

4. Service Limitations

  • Our installation experts will install the product according to the manufacturer's guidelines and the product’s intended use.
  • We do not provide modifications or repairs beyond the scope of the installation. If you require other services, such as repairing a pre-owned De’Longhi coffee machine, please contact DWS Pte Ltd separately. 
  • If the installation requires work that is outside of our team's expertise or scope, we reserve the right to decline the service and may refer you to a qualified professional for assistance.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must be present during the installation to provide access to your premises, direct the team to the appropriate installation area, and ensure that the installation complies with your preferences.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the safety of the installation area. If our installation team encounters hazardous conditions (e.g., exposed wiring, unstable surfaces), the installation may be delayed or cancelled for safety reasons.
  • Any delays caused by the customer’s failure to prepare the premises adequately or be present at the time of installation may result in rescheduling.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Any cancellations or requests to reschedule an installation must be made at least 3 working days in advance of the scheduled installation date. Failure to inform us within this period may result in a non-priority scheduling.
  • If our installation team arrives at your premise and is unable to complete the service due to no fault of our own (e.g., customer absence, unprepared installation area), a rescheduling appointment will not be prioritised.

7. Liability and Damage

  • While we take every care during the installation, we are not responsible for any pre-existing damages in the installation area or any accidents that may occur as a result of faulty electrical outlets, or other third-party factors.
  • If the product is damaged due to incorrect installation, we will take responsibility for the damage and work to resolve it.

8. Post-Installation Support

  • After the installation, our customer support team is available to assist you with any questions or issues related to the product setup.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • During the installation process, we may collect personal data (e.g., your name, address, contact details) necessary for the completion of the service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in Singapore.
  • Your personal information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with your consent. 

10. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for any delay or failure to provide the installation service due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, public health emergencies (e.g., pandemics), or acts of government.
