The Chocolate-y Treat
Top off your espresso with a mix of hot chocolate, frothy steamed milk, and a bit of cream for a warm, comforting drink
Ingredients
- 2 shots of Espresso
- Chocolate powder - to taste, but we used two tablespoons for a rich chocolate-y taste
- Steamed milk
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate flakes or syrup of your choice to dress.
- Garnish: Chocolate sprinkles or a sweet syrup, or both!

Manual Coffee Makers - Heat your milk with the traditional steam wand. If your milk frothing wand has no settings, sink the wand further into the milk to heat it. You want lots of heated milk, and a little foam. Tap your jug on the surface to get rid of any larger air bubbles.
Fully Automatic Machine - Simply press the button for a latte
Step 3
Extract a perfect cup of espresso. Drop this into your milk directly.
Step 4
Top with a flourish of whipped cream, and syrup or chocolate flakes!
